2,700 tickets were snapped up for the spectacular light show ‘To the Moon and Beyond’ that took place at Enniskillen Castle recently.

The animated space show that was initiated and funded by Enniskillen BID, with support from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, was a big hit with over 700 tickets sold for four shows in total.

Thousand of excited children were taken To the Moon and Beyond during ‘out of this world’ light show. With the darkness falling the crowds were wowed to rockets, meteors and the moon, all projected into the walls of the castle. As a part of the build up to the show primary school children in Enniskillen got the chance to design their very own rocket with Ava Hennessy, from Holy Trinity winning out among 100s of brilliant designs.

Ava’s prize was to have her design made into a miniature 3D rocket.
