FODC and Galaxy Light Animation are bringing a spectacular light show to the Enniskillen Castle on Friday the 11th October. To the Moon and Beyond light show is a FREE and is quite simply ‘out of this world’.
Big Telly Theatre Company is back to Enniskillen with another Creative Shop in the run up to F-Live. The shop is set up in Castle Buildings, Paget Street and it is opened to the public. Enniskillen Island Town Creative Shop is a great opportunity for people to get involved with theatre and visual arts. Shops director, Paddy McEneaney, said
“its a positive project for the town, so I hope people will come down and say hello and get involved.”
Enniskillen Castle: Fermanagh County Museum in co-operation with the amazing Erne Water Taxi have just launched their new Pilgrim Pass. The Pilgrim Pass allows visitors to explore the 15th century Maguire stronghold on a self-guided tour of Enniskillen Castle. Visitors will reveal its rich history, heritage and pilgrim connections before they voyage by boat to spectacular Devenish Island, founded in the 6th century by St Molaise.
Highly inventive and always entertaining The Big Telly Creative Shop is coming back to create a game with Enniskillen for the F-Live festival. Big Telly will place a specialist games deviser in the creative shop, who will work with local artists, actors and community groups to devise a series of mini performances which will form a game inspired by the themes of ‘Floating World, Island Town’.

VE Day 75 8th – 10th 2020 May Bank Holiday Weekend Enniskillen & Fermanagh.
It has been confirmed that in 2020 May Bank Holiday has been changed by the Government from Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May to coincide with the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. Commemorative events will be held throughout the country during that weekend (An example is the VE Day 75 website link attached) and if you are a visitor attraction, museum or hotel you may wish to explore the possibility of hosting an event, entertainment or package which will attract visitors to Fermanagh for a long Bank Holiday weekend and encourage them to avail of our many first class accommodation providers and restaurants (Friday 8th – Sunday 10th May 2020). More details will follow nearer the time about local VE Day 75 community commemorative events.
