About the High Street Voucher Scheme

Who is eligible? Everyone over the age of 18 in Northern Ireland is eligible for the £100 voucher.

Key Dates: Applications will open Monday 27 September until Monday 25 October. There are four full weeks to apply. You must spend your £100 before 30 November.

How will I apply? Applications will be received via an online portal on www.directni.gov.uk. Telephone applications will open on 11 October. Both methods will require the same level of personal information.

What will you need to apply? Your name, address, Date of Birth, National Insurance Number and Driving Licence (if you have one)

When will I receive my voucher? You will receive your £100 voucher in the post, 7-10 days after it is processed.

How can I use the voucher? The voucher will come in form of a pre paid credit card that will have Chip & Pin technology and can be used contactless. You can spend the £100 in any business that accepts card payments. (except gambling and online purchases) You can spend your card in one store or in a variety of stores, up to and including 30 November.

*Important to note that businesses do NOT need to register to accept these vouchers. If you currently accept card payments you will be able to process the £100 voucher like any other card payment.
