Due to the fabulous scenery and warm welcome, County Fermanagh and its Island town of Enniskillen have long been favourites for TV and film locations. From Game of Thrones to the TV series Blandings, producers have been making good use of the stunning surroundings.
Most recent to confirm that he will be involved in a new Fermanagh based shoot is heartthrob Jamie Dornan. Jamie is set to reunite with the creator of The Fall for a new BBC Two drama Death and Nightingales which is set in Northern Ireland.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star said he is “thrilled” to work with Allan Cubitt again on the new three-part series which is based on Irish writer Eugene McCabe’s County Fermanagh-set novel.
The blurb reads that Death and Nightingales is described as a drama “about love, betrayal, deception and revenge”. We at Experience Enniskillen cannot wait to have Jamie in our beautiful county!
