Come and enjoy one of the most special Lough Erne Heritage Regatta.It has been reported that Saint Ninnidh fasted for 40 days on Knockninny Hill during lent. Lough Erne Heritage will recreate his journey back to the 6th Century monastic settlement he founded on Inishmacsaint island Lower Lough Erne. On Saturday 18th May 2019, Lough Erne Cots will leave Knockninny Quay. Several teams will row in relay until they reach Enniskillen in the afternoon. On Sunday 19th May rowers will leave Enniskillen and teams will row to Inishmacsaint. The rowers are invited to a BBQ and will be presented with a token to commemorate taking part in the journey. This is a once in a lifetime historical event and for it to be a success we require several teams of rowers; each team will row in relay from Knockninny to Inishmacsaint.
